ลักษณะ :

กล้วยไม้ดิน มีหัวใต้ดินรูปค่อนข้างกลม ต้นตั้งตรง สูง 10 - 15 ซม. ใบ รูปขอบขนาน ปลายสอบ กว้าง 1 - 1.5 ซม. ยาว 8 - 10 ซม. ดอกออกเป็นช่อตั้งจากปลายยอด สูง 10 - 15 ซม. ดอกย่อยเรียงแน่นเป็นพุ่มที่ปลายก้านช่อ มีใบประดับสีเขียว ยาว 2 - 4 ซม. ขนาดเมื่อบานเต็มที่กว้าง 1 - 1.5 ซม. กลีบเลี้ยงและกลีบดอกสีส้มอมชมพูอ่อน มีแต้มสีนํ้าตาลเข้มที่กลีบเลี้ยงคู่ข้าง กลีบปากมี 3 แฉก เรียวยาว

Characteristics :

Terrestrial orchid, tuber subspheroid, stem erect, 10 - 15 cm long. Leaves spiral arrangement, oblong, acute, 8 - 10 cm long, 1 - 1.5 cm wide. Inflorescence terminal, erect, 10 - 15 cm long, dense-flowered at terminal of rachis, bracts leaf-like, green, 2 - 4 cm long, 0.8 - 1 cm wide. Flowers 1 - 1.5 cm across, sepals and petals orangish-pink with dark brown patch on lateral sepals, lip 3-lobed, linear.

พบทั่วประเทศตามป่าผลัดใบ ที่ชื้นแฉะตามชายป่า หรือทุ่งโล่งออกดอกช่วงเดือนตุลาคม - ธันวาคม

Distribution :

Mainland of SE Asia: Deciduous forest at wet and moist place, in all regions, blooming in October - December.
